kg minced beef or lamb
3 medium onions - finely chopped
3 green chillies - finely chopped
Handful of mint leaves - finely chopped
4 Spring Onions - finely chopped
1 tablespoon grated ginger
Season with powered cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper
1 pkt. spring roll pastry or Filo pastry
Olive Oil to cook beef/lamb
the oil in a frying pan. Add beef/lamb and cook, add in spices
and black pepper to taste. Leave to cool in a bowl. Then lightly
sauté the onions and spring onions and add to bowl to cool.
Then add in rest of ingredients and mix together. Take long strips
of pastry and place a tablespoon of the mixture onto the bottom
right hand corner of each pastry strip. Fold the pastry over to
make a triangle, then fold again, rolling up the strip. When mixture
is enclosed you have a neat triangle shape, seal pastry with milk
or beaten egg. Deep fry in hot oil until crisp and brown. Take
out and drain on kitchen paper.
Serve hot with a dip.
